slotcar nuts!! My name is Jim Corley, owner of HotSlots 1/32 Slot
Car Shop. Selling slotcars online is very exciting for me. I operate my shop here in Champaign, IL, and things
have gone so well since I opened in the fall of 2002, I've decided
to get my own little place on the web! Here at my shop in downtown
Champaign, IL, I know my customers personally. We often chat about
our mutual interests in cars, racing and this addiction we share.
I love extending this personal service to all of you. Indeed, I
got into this business because I love cars and I love racing! When
I rediscovered the hobby of slot cars, I immediately got hooked!!
Could there possibly be a better hobby for us car nuts??!! I don't
think so! Though the cars are a mere fraction of the size, 1/32
slot cars provide a lot of the same satisfaction of owning the real
race cars we dreamed of owning and driving. Endless hours of driving,
racing and a fair bit of time tinkering, what fun!! If we so choose,
we can build replicas of our favorite racing circuits or design
one of our own! No matter what real cars you love (Porsches, Mercedes,
Audi's, BMW's, or American Muscle cars), or racing series you follow,
(Formula 1, CART, Nascar, LeMans, WRC), the hobby of slot car racing
and collecting is the hobby for you!
Whether you're
a serious racer or would rather collect these beautiful models for
the shelf, we have what you're looking for here at HotSlots.
We carry all the major brands: Carrera, Scalextric, Ninco, SCX,
Slot.It and most of the less well known brands too. In fact, if
you don't see something you're looking for, let me
know and I'll try to get it. I am always looking for new
things to try myself and I want to stock what you want to buy! I
am no expert, many of you have more years in the hobby than I do,
but I do have experience with everything I sell. For you serious collectors,
we even have a special collector shelf manufactured exclusively
for HotSlots and just for 1/32 slot cars.
Along with our extensive selection
of slot cars, we also offer racing art and rare racing posters. We
have in our supply rare limited edition lithos by some of the world's
best known racing artists as well as rare event and car related
posters. In fact, many of the art and posters we stock are related
to slot cars that you can buy from us.
