Remember, whenever you see the Exclusiv designation we are talking about the 1/24 scale cars, tracks sets and parts for Carrera slot cars. (The track sections and track accessories work with either 1/24 or 1/32 cars).
I'm guessing they came up with the term "Exclusiv" because their goal was to produce fine quality, highly detailed (just how we like them!) 1/24 Scale Carrera slot car models. At the time, Carrera was the only company doing this. Now 2 companies make highly detailed 1/24 scale cars, AUTOArt and Carrera. These 1/24 scale beauties really look like the cars they are modeled after, great detail and great performance is their hallmark.

Occasionally, Carrera makes a Limited Edition 1/24 Carrera slot car, and production is always limited to 2,500. It is no wonder these fabulous looking beauties sell out quickly and inevitably increase in value as the years go by. These are true collector's items! As far as the construction goes, all I can say is, at about $45-$55 each, they are a bargain. Most Carrera "Exclusiv" slot cars feature working lights and all feature fabulous detail and performance. All feature metal gears and bushings, which are essential for great performance and
durability. Pick up one of these beauties and you really feel like you have something of substance in your hands. |
Measuring around 8", it's hard for some to believe a model of such size and detail is actually only a Carrera slot car and not a static model. In fact, just like many of the 1/32 counterparts we sell at Hotslots 132, some of our customers collect these Carrera slot cars just because they are great to look at! But, I advise you to put them on the track and run them! Because just like a real classic car, these cars look best when in motion! A classic car is a work of art, but is meant to be driven. It's the same with a great looking Carrera slot car. After all, that's what makes slot cars better than diecast, they really move, and look great too!
1/24 Carrera Exclusiv cars made in 2006 or 2007 are all Carrera 132 digital capatible. This means, you could purchase a Digital 132 track set; buy some of these cool 1/24 Carrera cars, some digital chips, and a Digital 124 Transformer, and you could go digital!
You also have the option of purchasing a 1/24 track set, and then later buying the digital conversion accessories if you wish. So, you can start out analog (less risky for sure!) and then if you like; give digital a spin!
