i have spent over $1700 at hot slots over the past year. started with a carrera analog and changed over to digital. i have over 60 feet of track on a modified figure 8 setup. working on scenery right now, have to lane change and one double lange change, small pit area, two ponds and a stream running between the two. i started out with a 4x8 sheet of plywood, added a two foot extension on both ends and a two foot section on one end. looking to expand, but my wife won't give up her car space in the garage. thanks to hotslots for quick service and product availability.

I would like to give a special thanks to Kent. whoe helped me get my Scalextric 6 car powerbase working, well i should say replaced. After numerous trys to get the firmware to download into my powerbase with no luck, Kent asked me to send it to HotSlots. When it was received after i'm thinking several trys himself. he worked with Scalextric and they sent me a new one with all the updated Firmware installed for FREE!!. I have not hooked it up yet as i'm reconfiguring my layout, But i'm sure it will operate without error. After shopping several sites I have to say my best experiences have been with HotSlots. User friendly web navigation, great selection, and excellent customer service. This is the place to shop for your 1/32 slot car needs.

It was one year ago (Oct 2010) that moved from South Florida back to the MidWest (where I'm from) and was finally able to visit the HotSlots store in Champaign. I had been looking at HotSlots internet site for a couple of years but never had the space I needed to build a 1/32 scale track. As soon as I walked into HotSlots I knew I was at the right place. The first person I met was Barbara who immediately made me feel like a valued customer. She took the time to explain all the differences between the different 1/32 scale brands (pros & cons) and then demonstrated the features of the digital systems. I decided on the SCX brand and wanted a design that would fit an 8x12 table. Not only did the staff at Hotslots help me design my layout they also had my table built for me, now that is customer service!! Since then I've purchased several cars and track accessories and have redesigned my layout a couple of different times. Hotslots order and deliver service is outstanding. If they show it available it usually arrives to my door within 2 days of my order! Thanks to all the Hotslots staff!!

Jim, Your customer service as well as the organization of the website has already ensured any future purchases I intend to make with slot cars. I attempted to order the same set on another website since January of this year, knowing that it was on back-order. The only times I found out anything about the status of the order (also a joke) was due to my inquiries alone. The second to last message they sent in March indicated that orders were being filled in the order submitted. Of course no news came in the next month until I inquired again, and they admitted that they were entirely out of the set and my order would be cancelled. I highly recommend HotSlots. I ordered on Monday and it shipped the same day and received my order Friday and I am half way across the country from HotSlots. Everything was very well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I do not hesitate to recommend these guys. Their prices are the same as my local hobby shop and there was no state tax or shipping for my order so it was actually cheaper than locally. Plus, my local hobby shop did not carry what I wanted so they would have had to order it anyway. I just took the middle man out of the equation and am very happy with the results!! My Dad and I have been racing slot cars for years, but local large tracks had all closed. He heard an ad on the radio and we stopped in to check things out.
