Fly began producing slot car models in the mid 90's. You want to know the difference between these Fly slot cars and everyone else? This company went to the extreme in detailing; so detailed that it rivaled the best diecast models. From the moment they introduced the first Fly slot cars, the rest of the industry was sent scrambling to match the new standard in modeling. Across the board all manufacturers did improve their details, but Fly is still considered the industry leader in this area. On the performance front, they are right up there too, with strong magnets and brisk motors; they are high performing models! Fly slot cars run the gambit from classic LeMans racers to modern day sports cars. The variety and quantity of releases they produce is unmatched in the industry. This is partially due to the fact that from design to assembly, every aspect of their production is completed under one roof.
A Fly subsidiary, GB Track also produces great Fly slot cars. GB is responsible for producing the Racing Series, a line built for racing. These Fly slot cars are equipped with a light-weight body, brass gears and bushings and the high rpm Fly Racing motor. The Saleen, Capri, Porsche 911 EVO, and now the Lola, were designed and built for the European Club racer in mind. The Fly Racer, is a magnetless car, but you can easily add a magnet if you prefer.

Fly slot cars almost single-handedly brought slot cars into the serious realm of the diecast models.
