Shipping information
TRACK SETS
Please read about the various shipping methods on our page. It gives you a lot of valuable information! Depending on the method you choose, you may have tracking and insurance options and your order can reach you anywhere between a day and about 2 weeks.
Track sets generally ship via USPS because UPS is more expensive. USPS has size restrictions that vary by country.
You need to visit our USPS link on our website and put in your country, estimate 20 pounds for the weight, and than you will go to the next page showing different shipping options. Click on (show dimensions) in the Mailing Options box and it will tell you the largest dimensions we can ship to you. Then you need to go to the website, choose the set you are interested in, click on “Read More” and it will show you the dimensions and actual weight of that set. If the dimensions are too large for your country, you will need to choose a smaller set. We have no way of repackaging track sets because they are packed as efficiently as possible by our vendors.

The price of shipping depends on the shipping method you choose. Please go to our shipping page and use one of the links (either Postal or UPS) at the bottom of the page; plan on about 1lb per car. Please read about the various shipping methods on our page.. it gives you a lot of valuable information! When you put an order through on our website. it will give you different costs for the various options also. When we actually box up your order the actual cost may differ from the website because it is is only an estimate. (For orders with just slot cars it is normally very close; large packages is where we see differences from the website.) We will either refund the excess shipping charges if it is cheaper or bill you the difference if it turns out to be more, if you have approved this.
Customs Duty, special fees, taxes and other charges may be imposed on you. Some countries reserve the right to impose customs duties, taxes or other fees on imported products. Our company has no control over this and cannot be held responsible for these charges. Please note, Hotslots 132 Slot Car Shop can not choose or select any courier service or delivery company when we ship by USPS Global Express or USPS Global Priority. Couriers are selected by each country’s Postal Service.
Any customs duty or fees are the responsibility of the customer, and Hotslots 132 Slot Car Shop cannot be held responsible. If you don't know the customs regulations in your country, you should call first before ordering.
We have negotiated an agreement with UPS regarding brokerage fees, which will help out our Canadian customers. As you know on orders less than $20.00 there are no brokerage fees, now with UPS as our broker, they are charging a flat brokerage fee of $10.00 on all orders between $20 and $200.00 We are very pleased about ths, as we know brokerage fees have benn 3 to 4 times this amount for this type of purchase.
(On merchandise orders about $200.00 normal brokerage fees apply).
Our Processing Time
We ship international orders within 48 hours. Normally, same day. You will receive an email from us when your order has been shipped with customs information, etc., for you to retain.
