PRE-ORDER INFORMATION PLEASE READ!
First, if you don't see an item you are looking for on our Pre-Order pages, just let us know and we will add it for you.
Simply send us a HotSlots132 Custom Pre-Order Email. Give us the model number, brand, (you can order from any of the brands we carry, or suggest a new one to us), brief description with the suggested retail price (if you know it), and any other comments you would like to give us (like where you heard about the product, or features you really like about the product, would be great!). We will put a call in to our distributor and confirm back to you via email the price and that we have added the item to our pre-order page. We will give you a link to the correct category page, and you can place your pre-order at your convenience, so we can track it through our system.
Benefits with our Catalog Pre-Order System:
- One easy order to place for all your in-stock Pre-Order and backorder needs.
- Your Pre-Orders are treated just like a backorder. As long as you have made your order using your account, you will have access to order history with your Pre-Orders.
- No down payment or pre-payment needed. You will be billed when merchandise ships. We will email you at least 3 days before shipping to give you the opportunity to add to your order or make changes. If we haven't heard back from you within that time frame, we will bill and ship the product you have pre-ordered.
PayPal Orders When your order arrives, we will send you an email letting you know that the merchandise has arrived at our store. We will email you a 'PayPal Money Request' for the amount of your shippable Backorder (including shipping, Illinois sales tax if applicable). Please just follow the directions in our email.
If you wish to add to your shippable Backorder, you can go to our website and place a new order and let us know in the comment section in the checkout area, that your new order replaces your shippable backorder. This way we can delete your shippable backorder for you.
Pre-Orders where we have very Limited Quantity
Our goal as a hobby shop is to give as many customers as possible the chance to enjoy all the cars we purchase. Every once in a great while, we find out that we are not able to get enough cars to satisfy the needs of our customers. When this happens, we will need to restrict the number of an individual cars sold to any one customer to 1 or 2 each. We don't want to upset anyone, but we hope you understand that we want as many customers as possible to be able to purchase super hot cars at retail pricing.
Canceling a Pre-Order
There is no penalty for canceling a pre-order, but if we get repeat cancellations, we reserve the right not to accept new Pre-Orders. You will need to send us an email to cancel it for you as our website doesn't allow for customers to edit their own orders once they have been through the checkout process. Just send an email to backorders@hotslots132.com and give us your full name, order number, and the product number you would like canceled. We will cancel your order for you, (even one item in your Pre-Order) as long as we get notice ahead of time. You will receive a reply email from us, letting you know we have canceled your pre-order. We recommend that you check your account history to be sure it shows that your order has been deleted, or that the specific item you requested has been voided. If we have not received a prior request from you to cancel a Pre-Order, we will ship the merchandise out to you when it arrives.
For continental U.S. customers only, we offer free shipping for shippable Pre-Orders totaling over $75 (ie., if your total for items that can be shipped at one time is over $75). If your pre-orders arrive at different times, we will need to ship them as received; we cannot hold merchandise. We will email you when your order comes in and always give you the opportunity to add to any order to bring it over $75 by adding regular in-stock items to it.
We use estimated retail pricing from our vendors on items available for Pre-Order, and these prices are subject to change. The final prices may be higher or lower than the what we originally listed on our Pre-Order page. You will be emailed on any price changes as we become aware of them. Sometimes we get advanced information, but generally it is very close to or at arrival date. If a price increase is more than you want to pay, please email us right away; we understand, and we will be glad to delete your Pre-Order.
